Stay at home Dads

I honestly couldn’t do it. I love my kids, but work gives me a break

One of my mates had the opportunity (wife is a GP), but turned it down

I've met a couple of them over the years. Must say, and I know this is wrong, but I can't help having no respect for them. A bloke should work.

I'd hate it myself. I come to work for a rest from them.

You seem to think looking after the kids for the day and trying to keep the house in some form of order isn't work.
But fair play to you for realising your opinion is out-dated.

It would be a piece of piss but all your mates are at graft so it would be dull as fuck eventually.

This is the thing. I'm sure I'd manage taking Mini-K to groups and stuff, but I can't see there being many other Dads there to have a bit craic with. Not that I'd ignore the Mams like, but I imagine conversation may run dry pretty quickly.

Fair play to anyone else who does it. I'd have no respect for myself. It's not proper work. It's often hard and unrewarding work. But it's not a job.
They could always be a Dadtrepreneur too mind.
