No such thing as Road Tax as others have pointed out. Vehicle Excise Duty is currently based on emissions so many cars are exempt from paying it anyway. Bikes don't give out emissions so would also be exempt.

The thing I find odd is that horses emit as much from their tailpipe as any other vehicles but their riders don't pay Vehicle Excise Duty.

So many more pot holes. Got a burst tyre last night on a minor road.
Felt like I hit a tree.
Just appears to have got worse. Reckon the last 4 weeks I have hit 3 different ones in the dark.
Somebody else from work did the same thing last week.
Talking to the garage this Morning they confirmed they are getting more than ever.

On the plus side, we're paying for a £400m road in Poland
