It's difficult to say what's shitter, the Star Trek reboot movies or Star Wars prequels.
I'd say the original Star Wars trilogy beats anything in the Star Trek franchise, but then ST-TOS, ST-TNG, ST-DS9 and ST-V beat the rest of the SW franchise.
ST-D is probably on a par with the recent SW movies in the lower middle, just below ST-E, and the ST original movies are hit and miss - some are near the top just below the SW-OT but some are in the lower middle.
The more I think about it the more I'm convinced this is true.Star Wars is for when you’re a kid, Star Trek is for when you grow up.
You just sound confused to me!The more I think about it the more I'm convinced this is true.
I enjoyed Star Wars episode XII only because the prequals were not very good and I clung on to my childhood memories of watching Episode IV A new Hope back in 1977 when I was 10.
I was disappointed with the last couple of Star Wars movies but impressed with the Star Trek movies, and disappointed with the Star Trek series but impressed with the Mandalorian series.

What else can you tell us about the future?
The next generation is the best but after initially writing off ds9 when it first aired I blasted through it on Netflix last year and it’s excellent. More of a series long arc than the others.I saw the star wars films when i was younger but couldn’t get into star trek it was too old looking back then but after watching enterprise series last yr ive got reet into it
I love space film/series more as i get older only 33 now but im garna watch all the star trek series if i can, already been looking for the best order to watch them in but everyones got their own opinion
Glad i get to watch them for the first time apart from enterprise obviously, if you wish you could see a star trek series again for the first time what would you pick? Whatevers suggested most ill start with that
