Star filters

Been looking at trying out these filters for some night shots with me wide angle.
I know you only get what you pay for, but what kind of price should you be looking at to get good results?
 


Starburst filters? You don't need them. Just stop your lens down to f22 or something. Point at light source, long exposure. Starbursts.

Mightn't be that early, but definitely contraband By the time of tobacco grads and flock wallpaper ;)
 
Thats one mean photo.
I'm picking up the Sony 35 1.8 next week, not nearly as good as the 1.4 but can't spare the pennies
