I know he was 95, but he was one of those people you just expected to always be there.

What an amazing legacy. An almost limitless imagination, drive and passion for his craft.
The world has lost a wonderful storyteller

I had read last year that Stan was on the verge on giving up as he was a bit fed-up, but his wife talking him out of and told him to write what he wanted. If she hadn't have done that we wouldn't have the Marvel Universe we have today and his influence might not been felt.

What I love about Stan Lee and it’s often overlooked due to his super hero creations, was his genius in creating super villains.

The hero’s get all the limelight but look how genius Dr Doom, Green Goblin, Magneto, Galactus, Dr Octopus etc are. Unbelievably great characters, behind every super hero is a great super villain.
