Stadium tours - any details?

Been meaning to take my lad on a stadium tour since he was about 6 (he's now 18, and nicks all my cans the bastard) but never got round to it.

We live out of town - Preston, a bit of a hike - but we're in the North East tomorrow for a family do at quite short notice. Yeah; one of those short notice family dos - not the pleasant ones.

Anyone know if there's a walk up option for stadium tours? It'll be a sad day - hence us being back in the NE - and I'd like to put a smile n his face while we're over.

Had a look on the site and there's either none on tomorrow or all booked up - thought I'd see if there's any chance of rocking up and having a nosey round. See if there's any of Woltemade's dignity still left on the floor.
 

You might be best trying to ring the club. Took my lad on one as one of his birthday presents a couple of weekends ago. It was quite busy so they split into 2 groups and we started 15 mins before the advertised time.

There was nothing obvious/specific that IMO would cap numbers, other than the risk of losing people in the ground. The bloke who led ours seemed to spend longer talking about the beer selection in the ground than the football club, so pot luck I guess.
 
I don't think there is any walk up option. In the past I've had to book well in advance and dates seem to sell out very quickly.
 
Definitely no walk up option, numbers are capped at 20 per tour with one tour on midweek days at 16:30 double tours on a weekend at 11:00 and 14:00. No tours are available on match day.
 
What’s the craic with these at present? There doesn’t aeem to be much info about on them and how to book one. Are they available during close season? I’m wanting to take my 4 year old. Thanks in advance

Hi. Stadium tours are off until at least July (likely end of July).

June is a write off due to concerts and stadium works.

I work as a tour guide, so will respond when I hear they are back on.
