Stabbing incident in Bishopsgate (Liverpool Street)



The stats are out there, 3% of reported rapes end in conviction.
Its a tricky one. By its very nature its virtually impossible to prove rape beyond reasonable doubt. Convictions require an extremely high bar in terms of evidence. Rape cases that don't involve physical violence usually fall on the word of the plaintiff that consent wasn't given and that's unlikely to ever be enough for a conviction. I'm not really sure how you would increase that 3% other than directing a jury to believe every word that the plaintiff says in court.
 
Regardless the met are a mess. From top to bottom, and it must rub off around the country.
Some good coppers out there too mind, probably best part of them tbf.
