Why not think of the good things? You could say the same about the majority of countries.
I agree with the other countries thing, but it's just a feeling I have, what good things would you put forward. Happy to have my mind changed as those who celebrate it do enjoy that

I was merely stating that if you want to wave flags on St. George's Day, it should be a Turkish one.

Technically they were under Roman rule back then so it would have been a Roman flag, but then again so was most of Britain, so a modern Turkish flag seems the most appropriate.
 
True, Turkey like England didn't exist in the 4th century.

Why would we wave a Turkish flag, we're not celebrating Turkey? He's patron of a number of countries, not just England.
