This Saturday double celebration hopefully with the lads strengthening a play off place with 3 points and the added bonus of it being on St George’s Day. Be great if the the club provided free St George’s flags to help celebrate our patron saint on this fine day.
He was a Turk I believe

Aye let's celebrate our favourite Turk... 😆

More importantly, it's also Bill Shakespeare's birth - and - death day, so let's celebrate that Englishman.
Yes he was born in what is now Turkey and is celebrated by a few places around the world but you and others miss the point. It is a day to (if you want to) show pride in being English.
I have since my teens and will continue to do so.

posted a England flag on fb the other day and got took down by muslims cos it’s offensive

Share if you think this is a disc race
Nor! St George is a Muslim Turk and in the EDL.
(If you listen to the nutters on here)

Would be great to see the added red and white on display (St George's or otherwise) for such a huge game, and the last Saturday home match.

Get your flags out for the lads!

Celebrate how? Sing a few hymns etc or just wave plastic flags?

Ah. I see all the staunch Christian’s are out in force again for the annual St. George’s day thread

I don’t get the big deal to be honest. The Scots and Welsh don’t particularly celebrate their days either. St Patrick’s Day only became so popular due to the big American celebrations by (originally) Irish immigrants and latched onto by a certain brewer.
