I thought we were sorted there with Richardson and Colback.

We've got limited numbers in midfield and in attack. Both could be needed in midfield, Richardson in attack. O'Neill is trying to do what we've all wanted for a long time, sign an actual left back. He's also pretty tall. We could do with more height in the side.

Whats the problem?

We havent had a left back for years and now we are signing one who is a proven premier league player. Were you expecting us to sign Adriano or Abidal??

Colback maybe needed in midfield

Richardson has been poor recently and needs a kick up the arse(nal)

Bridge has been poor for years, and our Midfield seems pretty full. I know he may not be MONs flavor but surely Meyler could even step in rather then JC.

Fucks sake man hes a decent player, we need options on the left, what the fuck is the problem

Look i'll cheer him and as i said earlier i hope im proved wrong. But when ive seen him over the years he brings absolutely nothing.

Fuck knows marra just speculating

Maybe Meyler hasn't impressed MoN? (more speculation)

Im sure youve watched him alot like, alot more than the top clubs hes played for, they havent got a clue

Still wondering why everyone would rather nobody than a low risk low signing, who may or may not start games

Hes not though mate, honestly hand on heart when can you say hes been decent in the last 4 years.

You can sit there all day repeating yourself over and over, you just look like a grade A f***ing tool

I think it's a reasonable outside bet that Richardson could leave today.

I think either way moving him from left back would be a shame. He's done well on the whole, and let's not forget that it's very early days of him playing with a competent left-sided partner.

Don't agree marra, I think MON will want to use his pace in a more attacking midfiled role...

I reckon he's looked worse playing behind McClean. They don't compliment each other particularly well. Nemo, I think it was, pointed out that the way McClean plays negates a lot of the attacking threat you might get from Richardson. There's not really space for him to go on the outside. He's looked defensively suspect as well. I still like the lad, but think you could be right, may move on today. His versatility, ultimately, looks like costing him in a weird way.

He's not very good, but it's a loan and he'll be cover/rotation for a position we have been a little short in the last few seasons.

So why isnt he still getting into a top sides squad and rather being shipped out to anyone that will take him away for a few month?

Why was he awful at West ham and Fulham who are not top clubs?
