Perhaps not, but they're all better players than Bridge IMO.

And I'm still of the belief that LB is Richardson's best position.

Struggle to see Richardson as a left back to be honest- ball watches too much and often loses his man behind him and isnt the strongest tackler.

Out of the 3 you mentioned, I think Colback is the best option, however we've had to put up with having makeshift leftbacks for years - an out and out left back makes a nice change and with a run of games, I think Bridge will do well for us.

I don't rate him but if MON wants him then thats good enough for me...aye his lass is canny like...Rico is never a LB he gives the ball away too much and does not stay with runners...better have him further up the pitch so when he does give the ball away we have a bit of cover for him...cmon MON get us a couple more before the deadline...

I certainly hope so, and who knows, with a decent manager at the helm and a run of games surrounded by confident players he may be able to regain his form.

I'm not overly hopeful we'll see much from him but I've certainly got more faith in MON to get the best out of a player than if Bruce had made this sort of a signing.

Like I say, he appears to be a man living off the reputation he gained 5 years ago..

He'll be our only premier league quality left back at the club.

Dress it up all you will, but Richardson isn't a left back, and McCartney can fuck off.

I'm happy with Bridge considering Man City paid £10 million for him 3 years ago. Get him in and get Richardson in an attacking position. McClean, Sess, Campbell and Rico all bombing forward on the break will do me

Even if he is wiling to take a 50% pay cut I don't see how it can be cheap.

If its a loan deal like someone on here mentioned (I havent got access to sky TV this morning), then we might only be paying 10-20% of that. Who knows.

Richardson had a shocker on Sunday so if Bridge came in to fight for his place it would buck both of their ideas up and hopefully get the best out of the pair of them.

Maybe.
