TBf Ashley has done alright for them.

It'll end badly for the mags unless they find a rich local business man, John hall style. Not many of them about (if any) that have the money to make a difference.

They get a rich Arab style takeover - truthfully is hate that to happen to Sunderland. We'd become a totally different club. Unrecognisable to the club we love.

They get venkeys- again not great

They get a rich businessman who wants the club to stand on its own 2 feet. (Is ashley)

Either way - unless they get a John hall they will turn into something they don't want to be
:lol::lol:They couldn’t transform it into anything worse than what it is now man.

Newcastle spent the best part of £150m to get themselves relegated, promoted and back to square one again. Add ridiculous wages on top of that and it's very costly to even break into the top half never mind the European places.

Where on earth do you get £150 million from  This board chucks out some mental numbers. It's like the Brexit campaign?

Season 15-16 (McClaren) Spent 75.5 Received nowt
Season 16-17 (Benitez) Spent 57.5 Received 86.8

So NUFC spent £46 million to get relegated and promoted again. You're only 3 times out.

So apart from Amanda Staveley we got Murat Ülker as a bidder now.. an official bidder that is.

Eh? I've just posted the real numbers for you. £46m not £150m. Did you vote Brexit too?

Unsuprisingly, in line the majority of his 'points' over this thread they are either

a) Inaccurate or b) Massively ambiguous

That he is plowing a lone furrow (usually posters normally chime in if a poster is making good points against Newcastle fans on here) should give him a decent steer as to he's talking shite.

You have to admire his perseverance though...

Give up. You're embarrassing yourself
You're going on net spend as usual. No matter how you dress it up, Newcastle spent the best part (was my quote) of £150m (fee, signing on fees, wages, agents fees) in bringing players into the club. They weren't free transfers because money was recouped later on.
