You really are a bitter and twisted fool aren't you, maybe if you had the facts it might have helped to stop you from making yourself from looking like the clueless idiot that you are.

The game tonight was in fact sold out 3 days ago, it was a free game for season ticket holders and about 25% of our season ticket holders simply couldn't be arsed to take time off work to go and watch a boring dog shit qualifying tie for the Europa League that was on TV against no mark opponents, Europa League qualifying and group games are generally as boring as feck and we still sold out despite knowing we were playing a shit team and knowing that it would be our reserve team playing.

People like you are a hypocritical fools, Spurs SOLD OUT a pre season friendly at WHL the other week 35,000 v schalke 04, Sunderland often struggle to get 17,000 turn up for major Cup ties, but do feel free to carry on taking the piss wont you, Spurs have over 47,000 fans on their waiting list a list that has absolutely no bearing to shit cup ties played in midweek against shite opposition.

I love the fact that clueless idiots like you actually think that Spurs are building a £450m 60,000 plus capacity stadium, and think that they cant fill it doohhhhhhh.

The fact that Spurs season tickets go up to almost £2,000 each and average out at well over £1,000 each should tell even a fool like you that the demand for tickets is there for the vast majority of games.

Is this for real? We didn't go because it was free. Come on you lillywhites

Congratulations for having £10k odd a year to spend on football (minus whatever discounts for any kids tickets etc), but to use the high price of tickets to suggest loyalty of your fans, as you did, is absolute f***ing bullshit. There's lads who couldnt afford a £2k season ticket who are much more loyal than a lad who earns, say, £100k a year and for whom £2k is nowt. Im not getting into the whole spurs v sunderland thing, you know why? Because I think arguing about who has better fans is f***ing pathetic, I'm proud of my own achievements in life - got a decent job, a lass I love, a beautiful baby boy, I don't need to live through my football team (not saying you do but many who boast about their club have fuck all going for them and cling to it as if supporting a good team makes them somehow successful in life, we could all support Real Madrid if that were true, but for that very reason I wouldnt waste time on another teams message board trying to convince them that SAFC fans are mint). Spurs are a big club, fine (a bit of a cup team imo like but still, a big club) but bringing up the cost of season tickets means fuck all other than the fact that you're based in an area where people can afford to spend that on a f***ing season of watching football, its no mark of loyalty

Maybe you should try reading the post again where I posted the prices of Spurs season tickets, my point had nothing to do with it making me or other Spurs fans better fans etc. who pay out for season tickets at Spurs.

My point was that taking into account the prices we pay it shows that there is a great demand for tickets at Spurs, and don't come back with the London crap, because only Spurs and Arsenal can charge those prices due to their long season ticket waiting lists, West Ham and even Chelsea simply couldn't get away with charging as much as Spurs and Arsenal do because they don't have the same demand for tickets, that was all I was getting at, and I never came on here to have a pop at Sunderland's support it is truly amazing by the way taking into account the last 50 years or so of generally being starved of any regular success.

Is this for real? We didn't go because it was free. Come on you lillywhites

It doesn't matter if it was free or not, it was a shit game that was live on TV against shit opposition being played in midweek, the average Spurs fan lives over 40 miles from WHL, and many of them will have to take time off work to attend midweek games, qualifying and group games are turn off to many Spurs fans and many of them are simply not going to take time off from work and use up a whole evening to attend them, Spurs have played around 200 European ties so the novelty of playing shit piss poor European teams in the early stages of the Europa League has simply worn off many moons ago.

Yet they still have time to come on a Sunderland board and talk shite. I know times are harsh, but

Good that you've come round to agree with the OP.

You're either a bit thick or simply a WUM, I haven't agreed with him at all, as previously and clearly stated the average Spurs fan who is an official club member of which there are approximately 100,000 lives as an average over 40 miles from WHL, some of those fans are simply not prepared to take time off from work to attend a match of tonight's calibre, when they will need those days off to attend far more important games later on in the season.

But when I point out a simple fact such as Sunderland's "self acclaimed" best fans in the world fail to turn out for virtually every Cup game at SOL, often getting well under 20,000 fans attending even when you charge mickey mouse prices I get dogs abuse.

56,250 according to your architects.

That figure 56,250 figure is from KSS, who have now been replaced as NDP architects by Populous.

see below .......

KSS redesigned it to 61,000 capacity, but Daniel Levy has dropped them and now Populous have taken over the project, and their plans will be revealed in the very near future, the last property on site has had a CPO granted on it and the appeal period is up.

You are wrong yet again as you usually are, I was there matey as I always am.

So Spurs got a much bigger crowd for a pre season friendly than Sunderland did for a big game v Manchester United in a Semi - Final, I would call that embarrassing to be honest about it, Sunderland's Cup attendances at SOL are nearly all embarrassing though in truth aren't they matey.

We had over 43k there at the weekend...is that embarrassing? Muppet.

I have been going to Spurs season after season for much longer than most of you on here have had a hole up your arses, I don't set the prices unfortunately mate Daniel Levy does, Oh and by the way I have to pay out for 5 season tickets every season at Spurs and believe me it fecken hurts me financially every May/June time, but the fact is me and my family love Spurs and I am prepared to pay out a fortune to follow them, and that will remain the case until health or finances dictate otherwise.

When did you first start attending games? Be careful when you answer as you may have already told this forum or one of the many forums you frequent this answer.

The 40k waiting list must've been busy watching Eastenders, on Facebook or playing on FIFA 14 lastnight

Curious. If there are so many people without direct links to the area, why not follow someone decent, like say Arsenal instead?

So it gets worse - even those that attended got in for nothing!

Your getting ripped off mate as you will never ever compete even though Levy pretends you will.
That's the difference you see, we get the Sky thing and despite despising it we just get on in a realistic way.
Enjoy the delusion/disappointment cycle.....

Why compare Spurs support to Sunderland's? You can't compete. The London borough of Enfield has a population much greater than Sunderland's. You should be selling out every game 20 times over.

The 40k waiting list must've been busy watching Eastenders, on Facebook or playing on FIFA 14 lastnight

The above comes from a gob shite that regularly posts on match threads when Sunderland are playing at HOME, you couldn't make it up ffs.

What part of last nights game was sold out cant you understand then, it was a meaningless qualifying round for the Europa League, some of our season ticket holders gave it a miss for reasons stated previously on more than One occasion.

Spurs sold out a pre season friendly the other week v Shcalke 04, yet Sunderland a team starved of any success for decades got 31,547 v Manchester United One of the worlds biggest clubs in a semi - final. good luck with the piss taking though mate.
