Never understood how the empty seats argument can have any credibility when, even taking our percentage of empty seats into account, we still get much bigger crowds than clubs like Spurs despite having nowhere near as much success as them.
 
Imagine if we were located in the middle of the country, we could prob take 8-10k away to most games :lol:
Yet you couldn't manage more than 25,000 in the semi final against the biggest club in the world!!!

It was a piss easy game marra, everyone knew we'd win so couldnt be arsed with it and wanted to keep their cash for a weekend in london for the final

(saying that 8k were keeping their cash for the second leg ;))

Im not one of these that loves to dig at Villa. They get good numbers at times, but its now beginning to show just how good our numbers are when you consider Villa fans are staying away and classing these times as bad times, when these times are the norm for us.

Well he's wrong.

He is, but he will still prob snigger at 26k

I think it was a good turn out considering people are skint, it was midweek, on the box, big games coming thick and fast and we were really shit that season.
