How are they allowed to drink in the street?

I was standing under the Metro station at St Peters waiting to meet my son, when a large group of Spurs fans came past singing and carrying pints in plastic glasses.

They weren't doing any harm but I've seen Sunderland fans have drink taken off them while walking to the ground before.

Very good numbers for a midweek game, started off signing well the first ten mins but tailed off after that. Understandable, their team didn't really give them much to shout about.

Does anyone know what happened on the bridge pre kick off heading towards Tavern ? Loads of fuzz flashing lights ? Accident ?

fella got knocked over, there's another thread

there were plenty in the worm no bother at all, then bumped into a group at the end of the bridge who were in good humour when they were alone, as soon as they started mingling with SAFC fans they turned into arseholes. If they'd walked straight on at the Metro I was going to follow them to see what happened when they passed the pubs but they ducked left through Sheepfolds

I don't agree tbh.

This is a team full of stars going for the title ...... not as good as we'll be at Palace.

The ones we saw were walking over the bridge from the town. My son travelled from Gateshead and back on the Metro and never had any bother.
