Changing your gloves is hardly a subtle move mind! Also find it hard to believe they can fix the “exact number of runs an over”. Let’s say they agree on 7 runs from Bairstow in an over (assuming Ginge is in on it), what’s to stop Starc just bowling 6 bouncers (again, cos that’s their only boring tactic)

would a nice ball on middle and leg that you could push a single from, then a widish half volley for 2, 3 bouncers then a juicy half volley just outside off stump caned for a 4 do it?

In a test match 1 run in an over 5 "wide" sighters and a ball down the leg that can be put away for a 1 also go as normal?

Neither of these scenarios are that uncommon
