No, a spin bike is more like a road bike as you can change hand position and use clip in pedals. Good for training when it's poor weather for cycling outdoors!

Ok, cheers. But effectively it's still a bike. In which case I don't know what would be so "un-manly" about it.

Those elliptical machines on the other hand look a bit girly. Though I warm up on them quite often since it uses your arms, and as I've mentioned elsewhere, I don't give a fuck what people think of me when I'm in the gym. Neither should the OP.
