It looks as if Shoe Man belongs to a different comic universe. It would probably be some sort of copyright infringement if Marvel had a character with the same name.

Spiders are great. They eat all kindsa nasty shit that runs about your house, fleas, mites, ticks, flies. You should never kill spiders.

I love seeing the little bastards stomping around my house on the hunt. I've had one in the bathroom for months, he's toppa. We've come to a mutual agreement.. he can stay in the warmth and eat the bugs, and in return I won't squesh him. Works a treat.

I've named him spiderbro.
