I can’t name a celebrity fundraiser from the 80s who hasn’t got into some kind of bother, never mind one that walked around in Speedos
Just saying
Well he's clearly got nothing to hide. It's probably frozen off by now!

I promise you it is a true story. Obviously not the bit about the film, but the rest of it is 100 percent true.Is it really a true story cos its a joke I've told on stage for at least 25 years? I've just cracked it in the post you're quoting.

Do you tell gags on stage (but not like to mention it) by any chance?Aye, I heard it before that but I didn't start telling gags on stage until about 25 years ago.
Jimmy Saville doesn’t like this postDon't know about him specifically but it gets to a point where certain high profile 'novelty' fundraisers get paid by charities to collect for their cause. There are a few on here who work for charities who might know more. @Keawyeds @Muppet
I'm a little uncomfortable about the whole thing. You can never say that raising money for charity is a bad thing, but there are a few of these types who believe their own publicity and consider themselves celebrities.
It's what I do, (in one of my shows, anyway). Why would I not mention it when I'm talking about it?Do you tell gags on stage (but not like to mention it) by any chance?
Neither does he like your spelling of his name.Jimmy Saville doesn’t like this post
