Speakman

We spend ages looking for managers alligned to the model. We are hamstrung with this owner and DOf. We will sack off regis next year and find the next puppet
I think Le Bris will get his marching orders by the end of November, latest. Can't see us going into the play offs with momentum and the sales in the summer will kill the team strength. Club will financially survive however and build again.

Injuries have killed any momentum we had and we don't have sufficient squad depth to cover the injuries we are picking up. I said at the time we should have taken that 8m + add ons for Watson and still think I was right. Not fussed what the player #maybe# worth in the future, the here and now is that the club needs an influx of money and that could have been x2 half decent players covering other positions for the run in, when Watson was injured and needs a run of games to get back into the swing.

We could end up finishing 6th, which maybe a blessing - or a costly London day out.

He said the aim was promotion this season.. we’ve been punching welll above our weight and have now been found out…. Squad is far too small and some players are out on their feet

Signing injured or injury prone players…. Still no decent fullback cover….. no third striker….. there’s plenty wrong
Not sure he did mate, I got the impression the whole club avoided talking about promotion pre season. As exemplified by the RLB appointment.

Taking the Watson money on deadline day would have made no difference. We’ve still got the Clarke money somewhere, selling him has made no difference.
We were allegedly prepared to spend £10m on an overpriced Tom Cannon. We ended up signing a crock in the final few minutes of a transfer window that lasts a whole month. We will likely never see the lad play in a red and white shirt.

No bother.
Thought cannon was loan with obligation to buy, if promoted

Don't be fooled by the deadline day bid rubbish. That bid was there a good few days before.

I’m sure he’d have bought nivver injured footballing geniuses if the budget he was allowed would stretch to it.
