Looks great. Might pop in on sunday as think there is an open day for rhe public to walk around.

Love Whitley, loads of new places to eat and 5 micro breweries/bottle shops to go to as well if you like that sort of stuff.

The whole area is on the up.

Cant remember the last time i saw a hen night or stag do!!

He’s only 6. Lovely little lad. But his sister skidded in some sick and some lads were on spice so he thought he had been taken there to be taught a lesson. Seemed a massive amount of stray dogs as well. Desolate place. Good to see they’ve painted that roof though.

My old Mam would be pleased. In her later years she lived not far from Whitley Bay and on her frequent visits she loved an ice cream in Minchella's after a stoll along the sea front. She was always sad that the Spanish city had fallen in to decline then she would say that there was a rumour that there was some plan or another to bring it back to its former glory .

Well nothing materialised in her life time but she will no doubt be looking down in full approval when the refurbished building opens up.

Theres a great skatepark opposite waves.

Really the type of thing Sunderland's seafront could have done with- be interesting to see what impact this has on Whitley Bay as it has been quite an isolated area for years now.

Hope it works out and attracts people however, you can put lipstick on a pig .......
