There is a niche market. If anything, judging by the comments on here, the SMB small business owners will be falling over themselves to hire the trans lot as they won’t be running off getting preggers, off with periods and no menopausal issues but still present a pretty face to the public.![]()

Spain approves paid menstrual leave, first country in Europe to do so
The new bill gives women the option to call in sick ‘in case of incapacitating menstruation.’www.politico.eu
Bloody Hell!
I haven't seen any comments indicating hatred of women, and the genuine 'trans' community has been infiltrated with people using that identity for attention and access to women's spaces. I'd say those people and their apologists are the mysogynists. The SMB misogyny and transphobic crew out in force again I see.
It’s riddled with low level misogyny, sexism and transphobia. What about the poster who said he’d avoid employing a woman of child bearing age? Then another going on about ‘women with penises’?I haven't seen any comments indicating hatred of women, and the genuine 'trans' community has been infiltrated with people using that identity for attention and access to women's spaces. That's not misogyny! A small business owner may not be able to afford to employ someone who's going to take extended time off, the business owner has to put hard economic facts ahead of someone else's family planning. It's not hatred of women, it's a sad fact of life. Real life is rarely fair. It’s riddled with low level misogyny, sexism and transphobia. Handy, since I identify as a fat woman from Bilbao.
You’re one of those that just loves to be offended aren't you. It’s riddled with low level misogyny, sexism and transphobia. What about the poster who said he’d avoid employing a woman of child bearing age? Then another going on about ‘women with penises’?
Blobao you say.Handy, since I identify as a fat woman from Bilbao.
Oh Wokey Wokey Cokey, Oh Wokey Wokey Cokey. It’s riddled with low level misogyny, sexism and transphobia. What about the poster who said he’d avoid employing a woman of child bearing age? Then another going on about ‘women with penises’?

If the business owner said he wouldn't hire a woman because he doesn't like them, that would be misogyny.
As for 'women with penises', well, they're not women, and it's insulting and demeaning to real women to claim they are, IMO.
They're trans women, nothing wrong with that, provided they're genuine and not jumping on the bandwagon for attention or nefarious reasons.
The poster was referring to delusional people born as fully intact males jumping on the trans bandwagon claiming they get period pains, use sanitary products and suffer from PMT. That is a bridge too far for me, it's nonsense. Identifying as a women doesnt make you one, and it's doing the genuine trans community no favours.
There'll be some odd reason behind it.Seems a strange thing to need a new law for. Is it not already covered under existing sickness pay/laws?
No I know it is which isn’t great but I’m just talking about the practicalities If you run a small business reliant on a few staff. I’ve had this conversation with someone who ran a very successful business selling pressure washers when they took off. Made his million or two. But he was very clear on the issues with employing women in key positions their 20’s and 30’s. It’s not always a wise choice in a small business.
After being proposed last year, it’s been passed in law now.

Spain's facing a change of Govt. The ruling party, PSOE, a slightly more radical version of the Blair Govt isn't popular-
The shouts from the right are immigration, the cost of living crisis, the assault on 'Traditional Family Values.''
Pleased that they are putting stuff like this into law.
Machisma , violence against women, the hangover from Franco and the hatred, the subjugation of women by the Catholic chusrch still reverberates over here in a way that people in the uk cannot imagine.
Step by step, poco a poco.
ANIMO!!!
