south stand vote once and for all

I will sit, but am intelligent enough to understand loads want to stand, so i will go to other areas of the ground, and won't go to the swc or ss,
I think to go to these areas and makes a fuss about sitting is pathetic.

When I go away I do what the people infront do.(I'd drather sit, but if people infront want to stand, I'll stand)
I can't understand anyone who could get worked up about this.

(I'm 38, but look much younger)

This...

I would welcome/applaud a safe standing area with proper safety barriers, where the needs of all fans could be catered for in an organised manner. But there isn't one ATM.

So putting it politely, please sit down everyone....

Does the standing affect you personally? Standing in seated areas is not unsafe. I agree it's wrong if peoples views are restricted but there are areas in the ground where people stand without any problems. They do not restrict anyones view as those around them wish to stand also.

There was around 36k at the match on Saturday. That's more than enough space for people to pick and choose if they want to sit or stand. There isn 't a bad view in the ground.

Stand 32. I'm getting sick of all the moaning about it now and as much as some people won't like it, in starting to think along the way of, it you don't like it then move.

So the people abiding by the rules should move because the rule breakers said so? Arsehole, sit down or watch in the pub while standing.

Completely irrelevant, football matches are not the same as the cinema or the theatre. At the cinema you go to sit quietly and watch the film at football matches people go to support their teams vocally. Some people prefer to stand while they do it.

I don't expect you to understand as it was perfectly obvious from your first post that you thought anyone who disagrees with you is a child.

If you want to sit then don't get a ticket for the SWC or the singing section, simple.

Don't get a ticket for anywhere in the ground if you want to break rules then get done for it, simple.

Exactly. Why people from other areas of the ground feel the constant need to post shite threads on here about the south stand is ridiculous. The vast majority on here who actually go in the south are happy with their seats. Said a few times would people buy season cards in the swc and moan that people were standing?
There's knackers on here who would.

No thanks, ill keep going and standing mate. While your on why don't you go round telling the other couple of thousand to sit and call them arseholes, reckon you would be dead popular. If you do move try the swc and tell them to sit as well.

If you get to the pub early enough there will be plenty of nice comfy seats for you as well.

hes the sort that never breaks rules in life

never smokes indoors
never takes a drink outside
never speeds
never swears in public
never stands when we score
crawls on his hands and knees to the bogs at half time in case he rulebreaks

rules rules rules heres another ffs

Yes rules, you thick as fuck cun.t.

I don't care if people want to stand, but when it's AGAINST THE RULES and they have the nerve to complain when they get thrown out or told to sit down, it baffles me.

Untill there's an official standing zone, sit the fuck down then you won't have to complain about you or your mates or anyone else being thrown out, simpleee.

All of this is absolutely true, yes.

Serious question without all the petty name calling, are you actually affected by this as in you have to stand and you don't want to? If you are did you not think that this would be a strong possibility with where you chose your seat?

.

You have got to see where people are coming from here with numerous clubs standing at home games and no attempt to make them sit down. Take Man Utd Stretford end upper you have a good 4,000 standing every game.

Thing is that gets me is why some clubs do nothing- yet other dumb clubs ( like ours) kick their own season ticket holders out for it.

If it was the same across the board, I would say fair enough lads you are fighting a winless battle here but its not.

No, but people complaining about things because they are breaking the rules is absolutely ridiculous.

I've stood before, more than once, a lot actually, but if I got thrown out, or my mates got thrown out for it, I wouldn't complain, I'd realise it was my own fauly and no one elses, which is why I abide by the rules without complaining and so should everyone else until one day (if it happens) standing is allowed.
