South Stand Standing

Our singing/standing lot were 'relocated' last season and continued to stand. They were sent warning/reminder letters through the post that their tickets were issued in accordance to certain terms and conditions and if they continued to stand then they'd have their ticket cancelled and/or ejected etc.

They were also monitored by stewards who noted particular 'persistent standers' and made a note of the seat number/row. The police also backed this up with CCTV footage and help with throwing them out iirc.

They don't stand any more in that section.

If anyone stands in front of me I'll ask them to sit. If they dont I'll ask a steward to ask them / move them. Its simple - it is a seated area, so everyone should sit.
You sing whilst seated in church, so why not at the match?

If you said that to me, I'd say I'll sit if you tell the person in front of me and the person in front of him and him and him etc and everyone else, then stand back up later.

if 1,000s are stood they couldnt do it. nor would they attempt to.

Probably not, but the good thing about these new cards this season is that anyone can be identified. They then block your card for x amount of games. Problem solved! only joking!!

Newcastle's singing section?

7 The following articles must not be brought within the Ground - knives, fireworks, smoke canisters, air-horns, flares, weapons, dangerous or hazardous items, laser devices, bottles, glass vessels, cans, poles and any article that might be used as a weapon and/or compromise public safety. also, people stand in the swc drinkin from bottles, nee bother, and the sfg and haway the flags groups had 3 of them flags with 2 poles each, again with nee bother. those that meet with the club get things sorted.

Shouldn't be a problem then. I don't sit in that section btw.

No, it's your job to ask the person in front to sit down. He will be spoiling your view, not mine.

They could of done the same thing with the old cards or with people in the SWC tho surely. For fucks sake I'm sick of talking about this shite like. I'm off to speak to my source about AJ.

Because its one of the best views in the stadium. The ALL SEATER stadium.

It won't be a good view when everyone is standing in front of you. Why didn't you just get a seat in the north? It's the same view and it will be full of boring bastards like yourself.

There's going to be trouble in that stand this season seeing as a lot of folk who've moved there probably won't have the intention of standing for 90 minutes.

:lol: You're the one who wants to sit down, if you want me to sit down, you can go and tell the person in front of me to sit down or you will get a polite 'Nah' from me.

I'm not patting people on the back asking them to sit looking lick a cock when i don't even want to sit myself. You're living in dreamland mate

No I'd ask the steward that you've asked to come over to tell me to sit. If your sat with a crowd full of people around you standing do you think the one person in front of you will give you a view of the pitch like?
