why did Sunderland take 31000 tickets for the final at Wembley only 17000 bothered to turn up for the quarter and 26000 for the semi?

Probably because they averaged more than 40,000 that season and regularly before that and 31,000 wasnt enough to satisfy demand..

Can you still buy tickets for the match? Maybe direct from the stadium. I can see Wembley Stadium from my workplace.

What's to stop people buying tickets for other teams blocks, that's what I was gonna do last night when shields ones weren't coming up.

Got tickets (x6) in block 125.

Surprised at only 5000 tickets, we had 3000+ for the quarter and semi finals and loads will be taking friends and making a weekend out of it.

There'll be lots jumping on the bandwagon of course, but good. More the merrier. Shields has a bigger population than Burnley, why can't they be successful?

No, just looked and you can still definitely book tickets for the allocated Shields area. Scroll down the list of areas on the FA ticketing website

Sorted the problem. the website seems to default to ordering one ticket in the top category (which happens to be Cleethorpes), and you have to clear that to persuade the site to search for anything else. Typical FA. Anyway, sorted and ticket bought :)

What are you taking exception to, the wording of the sentence of the existence of Taco Bell in Cleethorpes?

I wold think the use of Taco Bell and restaurant in the same sentence ;)
