I thought Everton were excellent - probably the best team we've played this season at home. Moyes had them well set up and really up for it, never once looking like they'd come up here and settle for a point. Fair play to him for that seeing as only United and Villa have won here in the last year and a bit.

Quality game of football overall and a good point for both sides. Impressed by Pienaar and Arteta in midfield for them and of course Baines who has a wonderful left foot.

Pick of the bunch for us - Welbeck who just seems to get better and better (although to the trained eye has always looked to have great ability, even when played on the left) and Turner at the back. Really enjoyed a fine game of football contested by two good teams

agreed...they played some great stuff goinfg dorward and used the wings effectively, short passing game was brilliant and deffo one of the best sides against us this season.. use the 4-5-1 formation well and they should be in a far better league position than they are.

Difference in the sides atm is if we were down there at 2-2 we would have sat back for a point where as ther had the confidence to go for all three, hopefully if we keep progressing we could be matching Everton for quality week in week out in a year or two imo

Would have settled for a point beforehand against a well drilled, organized skillful side

For some strange reason Everton never hit top gear until around this time of year. Moyes is a cracking manager though and they look like a side that have been together for a few years now. Pass the ball around really well and good movement. I think we can get to where they are, perhaps even further as we have money and they don't. No question IMO that at that level of performance tonight they would have beatn the majority of teams in the league

I know we scored our second from a cross tonight, however...

Very frustrating that almost every ball Everton knocked in was dangerous and was either punished by Cahill or had to be dealt with. Really highlighted how poor our crossing into the box is.

agree to an extent altough I wouldn't be too harsh on us. Both our goals came from crosses as have other goals this season. I think in Baines they arguably have the best deliverer of a ball in the league. He's up there at least. They are excellent on set pieces, but yes it's an area we could improve.

Last season Everton played us off the park and were unlucky not to score a hat full of goals. We scraped a draw but only just. This year it was a much more even game. A draw was probably a fair result.

You could say we are getting closer to the Evertons of this world.

We are making progress.

when bruce said he was looking for 10 points from the next 5, i reckon this was his draw. he's now looking for 3 wins from the next 4. 2 home wins and 1 away from either fulham or wolves

good point tonight against a good team

Thought that their movement in attack was superb, very fluid in their positions, popped the ball around nicely & they looked very dangerous when running with the ball & whenever the ball was played into the box.

Very impressive side.

Hold our hands up & take the point which I would have been reasonably pleased with before hand

fair play to Everton a good side who worked very hard a played some neat football
