I’m feeling as down as everyone about how a season which was so exhilarating and entertaining turned so so bad so quick. BUT, yesterday if anyone visited the Beacon of Light you would have seen the fantastic work that at least one part of the club is doing. The supportive clubs they run for mental health and loneliness, the fabulous facilities for kids education and football really is something we should all be proud of our club for. It was also good to see two of our players there, playing badminton, table tennis etc with the supporters and generally just being around to support the foundation. So while Speakman is running the first team and club into the ground, there’s still the foundation holding up the safc banner.
 


Chris Waters is always involved in the great stuff the club has been doing over the past years. When you compare him to the likes of Davison its night and day.

The club supports it but it’s independent of the club. Hence club cant really bathe in its glory
