  1. the veteran

    the veteran Central Defender

Adam Johnson released next year and he's apparently looking to get back playing...Should the British football league's take a stance and not allow him back playing or has he done his time and be offered another chance..
    I'll be honest I'm undecided..
  2. Nobody is going to employ a nonce

Apply the same rules as you would to anyone else seeking employment who has been convicted of the same offence

    No morals in football.

He’ll get a deal if he wants one.

    He'll end up in Thailand.

Be ideal for our push back towards the Premier League, mind.
  6. HABA87

    HABA87 Winger

Nobody will take him on these shores.

He'd easily be our best player mind.

To answer the question. He'll have served his time.
If someone wants to take him on then it's nothing to do with the governing bodies in football, unless he is breaching any conditions set out by them or the terms of his release.

Look at the kick off when Ched Evans, who was cleared by the way, tried to get playing again.

The uproar is going to be unbelievable.

Local lad, knows the club, very good footballer, available on a free.

Apart from the obvious issue, he'd be a perfect fit.

I don't think he'll be seen in the NE again where he's easily recognised. Saying that, the second he signs for anyone The Sun will be all over it and he'll be infamous again.

He'll find it very hard to find a club that'll take him imo, regardless of how good he is. Nobody wants to be associated with a pedo.

He’s done his time and should be allowed to get on with his life, as with all cons. Just not at Sunderland.

Just a shame the obvious issue will obviously prevent it.

Surely he'll be on the Sex Offenders register when released? I can see the headlines now... "Sunderland re-sign Sex Offender".

Not gonna happen. His career is over.
  18. Graham Rix went straight back into his coaching role after the same sort of offence.

surly the job will put him in conatct with minors so he should disqualified from doing it?
  20. He'll get a move abroad somewhere. He's finished in this country.
