After seeing the reviews I wasn’t looking forward to it as much as other films, but really enjoyed it, wasn’t all out action from start to finish and had a full on plot and storyline to follow.

One for the Star Wars purists and not those new to the film.

Looks like we now know who Rey’s mother is going to be.
 
Absolutely loved it. Back to the best ones with actual stories and characters you actually like. They have cast every single person in it perfectly. You can see the old Han in the new lad and Lando is like a double act with how he goes on. Woody plays the Merc guy to perfection and Kira is played to perfection.

Loads of plot twists and not just all whizz bang and eye candy, everything is there for a reason and no fluff just to make the film last longer (the casino bit on the last one).

The baddie is an actual evil bastard again and not just some fuckwit. You fuck with him, he chops your balls off.

Really shows how Abrahams fucked over the last few films with eyecandy and trying to make a name for himself by f***ing over the old characters, which I enjoyed watching but they just didn't have good a good story and character development like this one and Rogue One.

They should give Ron Howard every Star Wars from now on. Was even better than Rogue One, which was great. Back to being Star Wars and not just some overblown comedy with no real direction (or just the first 3 films rehashed) and flying princesses..

D-Box seats or don't bother. f***ing class in 3D with the seat moving about as the Falcon dives and weaves between stuff. Theres a bit where they are smashing Han in the back with big sticks and the chair jolts with them in your back and you are left thinking will you stop f***ing doing that you twat! :lol:

Abrams didn't do The Last Jedi, I wish he had tbh, it was obvious he was teeing up Snokes background, Rey's parents etc for the sequel but Johnson blew all that out imo.
