SoL Concerts

Need a change of thinking from the “has been” rock acts unless it was the Stones or U2.
I know there’s fanatical interest in K pop with bands like BTS these days from younger people, but there’s lots of local competition in the summer with Kubix, Rock the North East, Sunniside etc plus the real festivals for the normal rock punters money .

There hasn't been a rock band since 2015, the last few have been female pop singers. I'd argue they need to go back to rock music
 
Bands and acts still touring that could sell out SOL are small

U2
Rolling stones
Beyonce
Robbie Williams
Madonna
Foo fighters
Bruce Springsteen

Will be a few more but even muse struggled with 2 dates last year and didn't sell out Manchester

Madonna is doing theatres. She's doing 3 weeks at the London Palladium, tickets start at £250 for the back row of the upper circle, £450 cheapest in the stalls, £1250 for front rows. :eek::eek: :lol:

Why do people insist its got to be bands that would fill the SOL - if there is enough tickets sold to make money then they should be on.

I don't see how Chester le street can put bands on and make a profit (or Boro for that matter) but we can't unless we are charging far too much for the use of the stadium to compete.
 
Coldplay releasing a new album next week so they will be on the road again.
They’ve sold it out before.

arctic monkeys rumoured to be touring next year, would they sellit out?

He’s canny, I’ve heard some of his music as my youngest daughter speaks highly of him, but I’d be surprised if he could sell out the SOL.
