Do you live in Hexham by any chance?Sol is a massive reason why, even in this day and age, people don't like angry black folk.

Can't escape racial abuse. Just had a lovely lunch with the family at @Lord_Crewe_Arms, then went into Hexham for a bit of shopping.

In the market square a man passed me & said 'I like your tan'. He didn't think I'd react. I did. I told him to stop racially abusing people.

He openly admitted he had & didn't care. He offered a fight. His wife asked me to stop drawing attention to them. He didn't know who I was.

If he had, would he have done it? How often does this happen to people not in the public eye who don't fight back or question it?
It doesn't matter about wealth or where you're from. No one should have to put up with this kind of abuse.

And this was in the centre of Hexham market square. It was not a figment of my imagination.
Used to work there, as it happens. Genuinely never once saw a racist incidence. People are terminally offended now.Do you live in Hexham by any chance?
It's the new "where there's blame there's a claim". Everybody is offended by everything. In fact, I'm offended by this post so I'm going to report myself, then give the Daily Mail a ring.Used to work there, as it happens. Genuinely never once saw a racist incidence. Married to a lass from Northumberland iirche lives nearby
So he really is upset no-one recognised him and has resorted to publicising a racist incident that never occurred?
Strangely enough I do. The trouble is, he's done himself no favours in football by elaborating on incidents that might, or might not have happened. Black guys get comments like that all the time, and I suppose he's just had enough.I don't believe him for one second. This didn't happen
How reassuring and considerate of Soleyman C. to include a caveat.Sol Campbell@SolManOfficial · 3m
