So was it a foul?

Goals on Sunday were f***ing rubbish with this one, not even showing the moment when Pants was on the floor with the ball in his hands.

he made no attempt to head the ball. he jumped into pants in order to impede him getting the ball and getting a good grip on the ball and pants had 2 hands on the ball against the ground and it was kicked out of his hands.

3 fouls, 1 he jumped into Pants, 2 he handballed it, 3 he kicked it out of his hands.
Having just seen it for the first time 100% this ^^^
If that was costa jumping into Pants it's a foul all day long, seems that size of the players involved is now a factor in wether a foul is given or not...

It shows how shite we are when this is such a talking point. At the end of the day Pants conceded 1 goal in 90 mins. That's decent.

The reason it's a talking point is because we never managed or looked like scoring a goal ourselves. The least little mistake becomes such a big deal because his team mates aren't good enough to get him out the shit.

People also need to look at Larsson and Yedlin and see how they made a pigs ear of stopping the cross coming in in the 1st place
Yedlin is another PVA getting caught out of position and not demanding adequate cover

We shouldnt be having this debate, our goalkeeper was to weak and should have dealt with it.
Should have punched when in danger

So if mvila goes into a tackle with someone small and snaps him in half without getting the ball its not a foul because the other player was weak

We should get Giac back and tell him to go out and jump into the opposition whenever he likes, if size is a factor now.

Crosses should never be allowed especially with somebody from Transylvania on the end of them.

Its a foul, then its a handball, then he kicks it out of the keepers hands. You can also point at dawson not getting a second yellow in the first half as well as brunts kick out at yedlin which would have undoubtedly seen lee catermole sent off (Or even david beckham if it was in france)

This season we have seen goals ruled out for us, goals allowed against uus that actually included 3 fouls, players not getting booked or sent off for a lot worse stuff than ours do and just a general atrocious run of decisions.

I am told constantly however that "it all levels out over the course of the season", given the course of the last few seasons and this one I fully expect us not just to survive but qualify for the champions league after refs fail to notice we are playing 26 players instead of the more usual 11 for the remainder of the season.

It was a foul all day long! I honestly believe if Pants had been playing well all season/hadn't made a mistake v West Ham then very few of our fans would be saying any other but when things aren't going well some people feel the need to attack people like a Yorkshire Terrier

I honestly believe if the foul had happened at the other end, people would be saying no foul that's how football fans work.
