So was it a foul?

Having watched it multiple times I can see why people are saying it's a foul but I still think it was extremely poor and weak goalkeeping.
I don't think the initial berinho jumping with pants was a foul but didn't you think pants had both hands on ball when berinho back heeled it?

If a player jumps to head the ball and the keeper comes out and clatters him before he makes contact with the ball would you expect a penalty to be given?
Not if it was done within the laws of the game, no. If it was outside the rules than yes.
What Berahino did was outside the laws of the game both explicitly and within the precedent set by refs for nigh on 20 years now.

Exactly, like it or not a precedent has been set for years and years now. The ref should've applied it here.
Yes absolutely. I regular see players walk into a keepers path when there's a corner, the keeper just makes sure they make contact, goes down and gets a free kick. Any slight contact is penalised, yesterday pants was junped in to. Goalkeepers are really well protected thesedays, too well in my opinion. Thats what made yesterday's incident so bizarre.

The collision was almost simultaneous with the keeper catching the ball, there wasn't a slight delay before the contact which would have been a clear foul, that's the point, I do think he kicked the ball out of his hands which should have resulted into the goal being ruled out

At normal speed I didn't. After seeing replays he did. Unfortunately the ref only gets 1 look.
I'm not blaming ref by thee way as it's a difficuilt job but in regards to the question of it was a foul or not then the answer is yes it was.
Having said this if pants had more conviction it wouldn't have got to stage where he was grasping at ball on ground mind.

Never mind the 1st foul he then kicked the ball out of his hands ffs
but I suppose if you have an agender against safc then it wasn't

I'm sure there's debate within threads but I can't be arsed to trawl through. I've not seen the goal but the Gary Bennet and the clown of a commentator reckoned it was a fair goal. I've seen reports saying Sam is blaming the ref. So concisely foul or not please.

Foul 9 time out of 10; he jumped at Pants, not at the ball.
Unfortunately, we were the 1 time out of the 10.
Such is life at the bottom.

3 fouls in that imo,
turns his back and jumps into him, handball and back heels it out of his hand.
yes he maybe should have done better but all these experts going on about his size is bullshit!
no relevance whatsoever

Pants could have been stronger but it was a foul. If not for the jump, for the kick when pants had both hands on the ball

My point was, why just shrug off everything that goes against us? Obviously it can't be changed. Debating stuff like this is why we follow the game.
Fair enough. I just find going other same points tedius. Ok we didnt get the decsion rightly or wrongly.... but its done. And we move on. Mags next man. Derby build up week!

He turned his back and backed into him with his eyes closed. I would agree if he was trying to jumo to head it.
