His substitutions are bizarre every werk
We were pretty average before we scored against Hull and pretty shite once Leicester scored, yet everyone just quotes fine margins from yesterday. Of course we have a poor team, Moyes brought half of the fuckers into the club. I also note certain posters claiming meltdown after a defeat. Funny that cos some of us, whilst happy things seemed to have improved, weren't convinced it was long term. Any one who reckons relegation will be a good thing is a fool, anyone who thinks keeping a shite manager because we've had too many in the past need to assess his record in every department first. January will be his final chance to prove that he knows what a f***ing footballer looks like and is not just one he's worked with before

If we sell pickford, kone and khazri and reinvest a hadfull of buttons on a couple of championship plodders, we all know that won't be good enough.

Moyes knows that as well... And cue the excuses about getting by best we can with what we have,

What will Ellis do?

Shirley, Ellis can't sell the club for what he wants if we're relegated... Yet he's has to be looking at the summer business and shaking his head yet again... More dross in and money spunked for nowt.

We are a poor team, but like any manager / fans he has blind spots to players.

Lack week they got free 3 or 4 times in the box didn't take them yesterday they ended up in the net, thats the difference really.

Never not been out of it TBH. I was impressed against Leicester but felt we were more than lucky agaisnt Bournemouth. Yday was an absolute disgrace really. Far to many folk were crowing that we were round a corner. Yday set us back an awful lot. Still bottom and his singings leave alot to be desired. His persistence to play Pinaar is pathetic really.

Agree with this too mind.
I just don't get how people can be ok with our curent situation.
Not only that the signings were as bad as Di Fanti's, but we also lost the better players from last season (Kaboul, M'Vila and Khazri is as good as gone). Plus we are bottom.
I hope the Leicester win wasn't an accident (they are the worst away team in the league anyway tbf) and we get a few wins, but until now Moyes has done a very poor job; people can dress it anyway they want but that's the truth.

Club apologists all over on here.

If short can be praised for his absolute clusterfuck of a job running the club its no real surprise moyes gets a mostly grief free run at finishing the job.

Of course it's the truth. His response to M'Vila backing down, "We only want players who want to and are proud to play for Sunderland", so why the fuck is Januzaj here then, Pienaar even, he might want to play but he hasn't got the energy anymore. So it looks like in order to get a transfer over the line, we need to expect more McNairs and Loves. Pretty shite players who want to play, a bit like me really

The same Moyes who refused to sign for Sunderland because we looked like going down just a year ago?

Moyes

Aye. For calling out, sorry, bullying Hugeblurt on his magness and wumming

You might want to get off this thread then.
He seems to be saying if your club is serving up drivel you should stay away.
Imagine the empty stadiums, the good games you'd miss. . . .

I just laughed.

we were playing the bottom club, who were shipping goals for fun, and rock bottom on confidence. We never looked like scoring, and rolled over as soon as the going got a little bit tough. Never looked like scoring, needed an instant reaction from the bench as soon as the 2nd went in, instead fanned around until it was too late. Even going 3-0 down should have put Borini on and gone for it. Bet Swansea would have wobbled if we had scored

The sit back tactic is here to stay. It's in his DNA. Some weeks it will work with the outlets getting it right and some it won't where the outlets don't. It does require decent wingers and good forward midfielders to be as good as the way Everton did it but the loss of Watmore hurts us a lot more than we think. In Jan I expect these areas to be what we go after.

We don't the players to play another way. The midfield is mainly made up of defensive players. Like it was under Allardyce tbf.

I still back Moyes. One bad result doesn't change my confidence in the manager. Main criticism from yesterday would be Larsson on the wing is ineffective.

Referee cost us yesterday. Never a penalty.
