Why can't you just have a sensible debate

The lad has posted nothing remotely controversial, its all fair. You don't have to agree with him but this is bang out of order

Really poor post.

How the hell do I know? not my point, I don't think I am bring controversial saying a fair few of the signings have missed the mark.

Looking at everything he ever says about SAFC has an air of pure negativity....I get everyone has an opinion but christ man haway and it's funny how it seems to be the usual suspects....clever mags or just thick as fcuk, that's all you's are

That happens, even Sir Alec Ferguson signed some duffers. It is not just with us. The end of the season will tell us whether signings have worked out don’t you think ?

The irony.

I wouldn't bother, he's obviously a clown, and not a very good one at that.

He really isn't, no need to be personal against him, you don't seem to take any criticism of the new owners well.

Its not a dictatorship, people should be allowed to question some things.

THE IRONY young un is that if you look at this thread it's you's 2 that are clowns :) bored now, on ignore x

How on earth am I a clown? My posts about the owner have been 100% reasonable

Correct. Which is why it's difficult to give them an overly high mark. Ultimately success will be judged at the end of the season & if we didn't go up it would be a disaster. We'd definitely lose a lot of our better players for starters

I think the high marks are based on what the management have done thus far (which I believe is the thread title) and yes, the marking will/should be revised at the end of the season

They'll ultimately live or die by the playing squad

Bloody hell is that the gauge for success? A few positive posts on here  they’ll get some credit from me if they get us promoted.
Although 9/10 is probably because the last couple of years have been so bad 5/10 is basically saying
Look mate, I gave my reasoning. What they have done in the transfer market is just ok. They said you don't need to spend more, but now after having a good look at what we've signed and the depth of our squad I'm not convinced (not that I ever was mind but there you go). Our recent results and the fact we're not in an automatic spot yet reflect that. Could we have done better in the transfer market with a stronger financial hand? Yes I think we probably could have.

If I was harsh on anyone I'd probably say it was 7/10 for Jack Ross. OK we're not quite where we want to be in the league yet but he's doing what he can with what he's got. I think he's made a few errors but who doesn't. Whether that 7/10 in October can be improved on come May time will tell - I hope it does. That 7/10 might look generous though if we're not promoted and that's the reality of football - and how much of that will be down to our transfer dealings?

74% I said overall, and I think at this early stage that's more than a glass half full for where we find ourselves in this moment. At the end of the day it's going to come down to where we find ourselves in October 2019 and beyond that really matters. Eights, nines and tens out of ten are more than a little premature if you ask me.
The fact that you reached a total of 74% says all I need to know.

Solid 8/10. Came into a complete mess of a football club and got the first thing right by appointing an impressive young hungry manager. Have dealt with Rodwell /Pappy and Ndong situations very well and although the finances are tight have enabled us to bring in a very good standard of player for League One. Also have got the fans back on board, thats huge cause the fans are the club.

Also could be f***ing huge getting Santori involved

The reality is that Billionaires were not beating the door down to buy the club. The new ownership has limited resources and have taken over a financial and PR mess. Spending money you don't have is not an option at this point so if your beef is we haven't spent enough then you are forgetting how we got in this mess. If you disagree with transfer strategy take a look around and see how many teams miss on a number of their transfers. Some on here will never be happy and will always take the contrary view as it makes them relevant in their little cyberworld. I can understand not giving 9/10 but giving 5/10 is just an attempt to get noticed. Its tantamount to saying they have done a bad job so far which is a tough sell. The post was asking how you think they have started out not how it finishes. Promotion is obviously the hope but stability must come first hopefully both this season.

I think 74% is pretty decent. Despite the views of some very precious people I thought I was being reasonably positive about them.
