Snooker World Championship

Trump still could win this with a session to spare. I don't imagine Higgins will fail to get any of the next four, but it is still possible.

How do folk think Higgins and his manager ended up in the situation in the first place? People aren't approached by undercover journalists on the off chance ffs
Seems it was all down to his manager. And if you're in a position to make a news story like that about any player in the world, you're going to look for the biggest names.

From that link I posted

And in actual fact when you look at what John did, and what the evidence shows, it shows that John knew nothing about the corrupt throwing of frames etcetera until literally he was just going into the final meeting in Kiev on 30 April, literally as he was just going in there.
Backed up by this one from SNOOKER SCENE BLOG: JOHN HIGGINS: THE FINDINGS AGAINST PAT MOONEY

Once in Kiev, on 29 April 2010, it was made clear to Mr Mooney on several occasions (in Mr Higgins’ absence) that the subject of frame throwing had to be discussed with Mr Higgins.

Still, he said nothing to Mr Higgins until minutes before the meeting the following day.

When he did mention the subject to Mr Higgins, Mr Mooney misrepresented to him the position, stating that it was possible that the subject might not come up at all.
Higgins was a bit of an idiot, but he's never been a cheat.
