SMB Tennis thread (note there is a specific Wimbledon 22 thread)

I see the women's doubles final is still on-going on Ashe so the final could be delayed a bit after the presentation and stuff. Could be a very long night if it goes 5 and if it does, I'll be thankful for the 5th set tie break.

What happened with Serena and Sloane?

Serena hit a winner in a match against Sloane years ago and shouted 'come on' in celebration. For some reason that has never been cleared up, Sloane thought it was disrespectful and their relationship seemingly deteriorated after that.

First time in a long time where there's no huge favourite in a men's slam final. A lot will expect Djokovic tonight, but 7/4 Del Potro isn't too big.

Nadal will be a big favourite in Paris against most (especially those not named in-form Djokovic), Cilic is good, but Federer was definitely expected to win Wimbledon and the Aussie and Anderson is generally not going to be tipped in a final against a big 3 member, despite his surprise semi final win against Federer at Wimbledon.
