Looking for a replacement to strum in house
Like the acoustic sound but not the fat bodies
Whats the score with these little body ones ?or should i just get a 335 epiphone ? budget £300 tops

But not for strumming, depends if he's a finger picker or not. I got one a few years back but it has lost its brightness. I wish I'd bought the Mini Taylor which was the same price.

I had a gs mini which was had a really comfortable body but the short scale neck felt cramped so I shifted it. I’m also looking for something smaller than a dread. Been looking at some 000 sigma models which get good reviews.

This, I also got a Sigma parlor recently and it's really good.Parlor guitars are fine to strum as long as you don't strum too heavy.

The Godin Acousticaster and Multiac series are decent although better amplified than acoustically.

I'm another one for Godin, but as stated above, with the thinner body you don't get the volume or tone you'd get from a Dreadnought or Orchestra body. Amplified they take off.

I've only tried them out in shops but I think they're quite canny for a nice bit strum.

@Big Duke Six is the resident guitar expert. I bought an electric acoustic as it had a smaller body. Perfect size. Playing a full size acoustic gave me shoulder pain.

They are nice like. A lad I kna offered his to me a couple of year back and I was very tempted, but passed on it in the end.

I like the Tanglewoods for the slotted headstock though - looks class. And Tanglewoods have always been good quality for the money.

My son has an epiphone semi acoustic. Looks like a gretch type thing. Nice guitar and decent sound without amplifier.
