This for me with a gardener, 870 quid, turned up once, made a start, never came back. Got someone else to do it in the end, not a big amount of money but didnt want him getting away with it. He’s not even contesting and the ccj awarded, so he’s got all the hassle now.I'm involved with a club, someone owed us (about £150), tried the small claims online service (£35 I think). They do no chasing other than send letters, it is a satisfactory way of bolloxing up the next 6 years of a twat's life however, and they must pay you the judgement debt + costs for you to treat it as "satisfied".

They still have to payused it twice for family members. Won both times.
First one caved in as soon as he got the Recorded Delivery letter saying pay up or we lodge it with the court.
Second one caved in when court papers were served.
If you have a cast iron case it costs nowt.
