Smacking Kids to be Banned



I slap my daughters hand if she’s naughty, not really an effective punishment though as it doesn’t stop her doing it again.

I’ll sound like some new age parent here but I do believe positive reinforcement is a better way of teaching right from wrong.

I appreciate this won’t work for every child and every temperament.

Thought it already was banned? Under no circumstances is it ok to smack a child. Anyone doing so rightly deserves to be arse reemed at her majesty’s pleasure for a period of time.
