sorry to ask but is it actually a herniated disc or just a 'generic' bad back. I had one in lower back (finally diagnosed as L4 via MRI) around 6-7 years ago - rest helped but it didn't actually go away until I went to see an osteopath. Probably took 6 months to be totally pain free.anybody had a slipped disc in back and if so how long out for training wise ?
cheers
Is that SR mate? Went to see him last week, I was impressed. Just be careful with your back, my Da had somet similar and a physio made ut worse resulting in an opdunno if its fully slipped mate, just moved slightly would be my guess, have changed where my pc sits on desk also to see if that helps and doing regular back twists/stretches
going to see a bloke in sunderland tonight who often straightens backs etc , see if he can help
yes mate ,some physios re bit sceptical of him as he uses some strange methods !! just thought worth a try, desperate to just be able to do some form of exercise again and not be in constant waves of pain, was bit gutted as triathlon type training was working out canny for me as had lost some of the love for just runningIs that SR mate? He sorted me out, no injuries since May. Doesn't hurt me, maybe cos I'm solid. Surprised fletch is doing summit about, he normally just likes whingingGood luck mate. SR is the only one to get stuck into root of my problem, going back next week. fingers crossed. He hurts a bit more like but better for it!
