turner was head and shoulders above anton, carried him at times.

SOme very odd ratings there - looking at the Everton side of things as well, they gave Saha a 7 and he was no threat all night in spite of some wobbly defending on our part.

Anton's concentration level seemed poor, he seems to be going down the path here that Titus did at Newcastle, where every mistake is blown up.
Probably best for him long term to move as he seems low on confidence and has lost parts of the crowd creating a vicious circle.

Notice that the Anton haters seem to love Turner and appear completely oblivious to the fact he was at fault for the first goal.
Yet at the same time are giving dogs abuse to ferdinand for their fluky 2nd goal?

I know, how could turner not be on the exact six pence that baines crossed into? Cahill managed to be in that exact space, so any defender worth his salt should have known to be there!

Anton did a lot of things well last night, making some timely interceptions and generally defending quite well.

Bardsley and nedum were also of the kind of class we're getting to expect as wella and generally, our defence looks good (for a change)

Wasn't it Anton who gave the ball away to Everton leading up to that first goal with a sloppy pass out of defence? Perhaps I'm being over-critical of him.

that rating system is rubish i would love to find out who does those ratings.

ferdinand an 8? he was garbage last night Catts a 6 i thought he was better than henderson by a mile ad henderson got a 7.

Bent looked well off the pace last night hangover off his injury.

i thought our top players last night were: Bardo by mile, wellbeck & catts.

to me the majority of them looked shattered.

but it at least it was a point and we played bad.

Nah the MAIN problem was Zenden being attracted to the ball at the give & go bit & leaving Baines free, with ample time to deliver the cross.

Cahill was between the 2 CHs & Turner (first defender in the box) watched it go past him. Possibly agree Ferdinand should of been closer to Cahill, but Saha would of been sniffing about somewhere as well & would also needed marking
