We have the full sky package and multiroom in our bedroom, but now the bairn wants it in hers. Is there no way of getting it without signing up for the SkyQ thing as theres nee way im forking out for that fucka like.

Just want another box and pay another charge for the extra box like you used to.

    Anyone??

I don't think sky do the old boxes but they may send you another card if you buy a second hand box.

If she's got an xbox you can use sky go and its almost identical as having another box.

I thought you could only have one multi room with sky q anyway?

IIRC, you can have up to 2 SKY mini boxes per house., in additional to the main box.

Why not give the poor bairn your sky box, then you can watch BBC1, BBC2, ITV, C4 and C5 .... ya nar, like what people done 20 years ago !

Right, just checked. You can have up to 4 mini boxes (as well as your main one) but you can only watch sky on 2 at the same time on a 1TB box or 3 at the same time with a 2TB box.

  8. How long have you been with them? We qualiierd as a sky vip customer and got a free upgrade to sky q meaning we could get the small q box in the bairns room

You can get sky Q for next to nowt, two new boxes and £12 per month multi room.

The other option is Sky Go in the room, through an Xbox it an old laptop/pc. That's the cheap option.

We've just got rid of the whole lot bar the broadband. We invested in an Amazon Fire Stick and IPTV and we have never looked back.

We kept the 2TB Sky box as we would have had to buy a freeview box anyway. I think we are going to be billed £140 for that.
