Six games (hopefully) a litmus test of LJ’s credentials to manage SAFC going forward.

Donald signings then. Johnson and KLD haven't had a chance to get started and they are getting covered in bursting bags of piss.

The players we have are very limited and have been recruited in a haphazard manner.
If thats the case why did we not take 2 on loan before the end of the window when we shipped out 2 players.
Also KLD had the chance to take control from the 23rd AFTER it was EFL approved they kept it back for some strange reason.
I'm sorry like but 3 points out of 18 in the third division and chucking away 2 goal leads at home to Accrington Stanley in the way we did is as grim as its ever been for any Sunderland supporter of any age.
You have that bang on BTW

I'll take being 3rd over 8th like, but that's just me.

Still no idea why you keep harping on about a manager who was sacked back in November and no one wanted to stay in the job.

Because the current manager is doing worse than the previous manager who was doing so badly no-one wanted him to stay in the job?

We're third now and we were 8th under the previous manager.

You're absolutely obsessed. Let it go.

Its you that keeps replying mate. You really hung your hat on Johnson weeks ago more than anyone else. You are now seeing him with a worse record than the bloke you used to spontaneously combust with anger over, while getting 3 points out of 18 in the third division, at the same time as chucking 2 goal leads away at home to Accrington Stanley. Admit it you must feel a bit daft?

Parkinson was a steaming pile of gash man. Get over him.

Ha'way, Johnson is way better than Jurassic.

He's not a genius, and I don't agree with many of decisions, but... ha'way!
Parkinson was the reason I stopped watching our games.
Started again with Johnson but haven't bothered the last half a dozen or so as I find us frustrating to watch.
It's a different sort of nausea now.

You've absolutely lost the plot. We are third and will almost certainly be in the play offs, we have a chance of going up. We were only going one way under Parkysaurus but you've made yourself look a prat defending him and now can't drop it, so you're actively hoping we fail. You used to be a decent poster, you've gone full blown lunatic in your love of Parky.

Whatever happens Johnson has had to work with Parky's very poorly assembled and unbalanced squad, a covid outbreak and an injury situation that is absolutely horrendous. he's still got us in the promotion picture and playing football that doesn't make people want to claw their eyes out. When he arrived the vast majority of fans would have taken third place give the state his predecessor had us in....not just league position btw, results, performances and the state of the squad were all poor.

You need to ask yourself if you really support Sunderland or if you would be better served logging off and starting a Parky fan club. I've said time and again the jury is out on Johnson but as a Sunderland supporter i hope he does well, case is f***ing closed with the other knacker.

This constant criticism of the new owner is actually going to be a thing isn't it?

Despite him having to deal with the mess he's been left with too.

Love Parky? I’ve actively said he should have been sacked and that he wasn’t the right appointment. No love there mate. There was nothing to suggest we were only going one way tho. He had only lost 2 games all season and 5 in 31 when he was rightly sacked. His points return for his entire time here even with his utterly shit start is comfortable play offs. The squad might well be poorly assembled due to Ross mainly and Parkinson but Johnson has already spent 3 times as much in transfer fees than Parkinson was allowed to do in two windows. So while it was right to sack Parkinson what I did expect when the not good enough manager was sacked that the bloke who came in would be much better rather than being doubled by Wigan, losing at home to Plymouth and at Shrewsbury and getting 3 points in 18 in the third division. Injuries to the biggest squad in the division and a COVID outbreak 4 months ago don’t give him a free pass on that one. His team selection, haphazard use of subs and a worse points return than the previously useless manager is nothing to make excuses for. Having said all of that unlike you with the previous manager and loving my club I want him to turn around and want him to put past mistakes behind him and get us promoted. I also think he deserves the summer and we can’t keep sacking managers after 30 odd games. He has to do a lot better and if you are pleased with him so far you are pleased with anything. I was tempted to respond to the personal stuff but thought better if it.

We've lost to some shite mind you.

Not in any way do I think KLD has been criticised, I just think he had an opportunity to take control in the window and did not take, I asked why that's all

So he didn’t have to be seen as responsible for the January transfer window.
I don’t blame him mind given the time frame etc
