Sitting Outside On Me Plastic Grass

It should be illegal kev for that very reason .disgusting and unethical.

Plastics in our eco-system will be the causes of cancers and shit like that .
Sorry for giving people cancer with me grass
Don’t like that either but it’s a means to and end on a lot of occasions.Plastic gypsy grass is just pure laziness
It’s time efficiency for me. I’d rather play with me bairns.

Saving loads of money on not plugging the lawnmower in as well.

When I moved into my current house I wasn’t thrilled with how much work was needed to keep the garden tidy but I don’t mind it now really, couple of hours a fortnight keeps it right.

Well the latest stuff looks realistic so i dont know how it looks shit. As for the environment I would argue it will be made from recycled plastic and probably can be recycled again, it doesn't need any chemicals like feeds or weed killer and it doesn't need any electrical or petrol devices to cut it. Swings and roundabouts
The the impact on biodiversity (worms and insects in soil) and the fact it increases flood risk in residential areas (by not absorbing rain water) and adds to urban heat island effects is a more serious local concern than plastic and carbon, notwithstanding the harm of microplastics.

In terms of global carbon emissions most of the stuff is made in China or Vietnam, from oil-based plastic and isn’t recycled or recyclable.

One most environmentally damaging products you can buy.

Rainwater doesn’t absorb so increases flood risk in urban areas, and using instead of grass reduces habitat for insects, worms, and bees (who would feed on daisy’s and dandelions) and ultimately birds and hedgehogs etc.

Makes me hate humans a little bit more every time I see grass replaced with this plastic ecological disaster.
Exactly this. I hate the stuff and also feel the bile rising every time I see a garden with it.

Artificial turf
f***ing stinks after dogs have pissed on it after a while, lad next door has had to replace his 3 times. Its rife in the summer of dogs piss. Natural grass absorbs the smell.
The dogs have fucked my lawn good and proper. Urine burn patches all over it. Only laid it last Easter, it looked class. Any recommendations or tips mate?
train them to piss away from the house , quick walk around the block

I have a big lawn on the bottom terrace and artificial on the mid terrace. Artificial is great for some locations and the quality stuff is really nice.

We just got a gardener mate 😂 he appears every few weeks and keeps it tidy
During lockdown, we were struggling with home working full time, home schooling and then spending more social time with the kids as they had no other social contact. At the end of the working day my son was usually hanging around with an xbox controller or a board game, desperate for someone to play with.

We got someone in who had been going a couple of gardens of older people in the street. £18 for an hour of work cutting the grass every 2-3 weeks. Does a good job, so we have decided to keep them on this year. It means I've got time to do some of the more interesting garden jobs or big changes, particularly work on my veg patch. With no work during the winter, we get at most 20 visits per year, so costs £360 in total.

I think one reason why I don't like mowing the lawn is I try to do a large garden with an average electric flymo, and if I bought a decent higher powered petrol mower I'd do the job in a fraction of the time. That would be £300+, so it makes it good value. Though obviously I would not be buying a new mower every year.

When people pay thousands for a fake garden and it lasts 7-15 years, take an average of 10 years, paying a gardener for 10 years just to cut the grass, probably works out cheaper.

This man knars. Should introduce a clampit tax on it so we at least get something back from the bone idle fuckers it attracts.

Cut your own grass man you lazy barstool

I don’t like cooking ,cleaning ,ironing as I like to spend more time “playing with the bairns “

Seems to be the go to cop out on here mind hiding behind your kids for being an utter utter lazy bastard
Tell us about the time you put an unopened tin of soup in a pan of boiling water to heat it up then read that back. You’d have been better off playing with the bairns.
