We have some excellent attacking players.
Even players that people give out about like Gooch & Neil, they contribute a lot in an attacking sense, it is their natural instinct.
And we have 2 or 3 players that can beat a player in a tight space.
Stewart to return aswell who improves the team massively.

Diallo is a different class to roberts and I rate roberts highly.
I love this team but just utter nonsense this mind, we were in the top flight for 10 years and had some good periods.

Second goal is a great example. They’re so concerned with Diallo that Gooch has loads of room….but he’s decent going forward too.

We didn’t mind. We were f***ing wank in the prem give or take some individual games. There was 3 months under Bruce where we looked like we could potentially not be wank 6 months later, but reverted to type instantly and sold all the decent players.

Not that hard like. Because we did it and we were shit running a rag and bone stall for 7 of those years. Stoke, Bolton, Hull, Portsmouth, Fulham, Brighton, West Brom, Burnley. Loads of utter shite been there or there abouts stinking it up over the last 20 years. It’s a piece of piss to make up the numbers for a canny few years. It’s very hard to actually achieve anything

I think that it has the potential to be the best team that we have had since Reidy. There are still a few rough edges and performances could be a bit more consistent but we are making steady progress and we will get there.
I have looked at some of our previous teams and was resigned to the fact that was the best they could do with these Lads they can and will do better.
