He wasn't at his best. But even at his best his footballing brain needs huge work on. He's done well for us though this season so can't complain too much
 
What's he supposed to do, flick it on 50 yards backwards or try winning it cleanly take it down and wait 10 minutes for the rest to catch up on their Zimmer frames?

Even when someone plays him down the channel they couldn't be arsed to get out to the line to get a pass back

More laid back than LND, zero intensity to his game for long periods. Doesn't show much emotion either.
 
Seems a polarised opinion. Lots thinking he was good, some agreeing and some thinking he was MOTM. It’s all about opinions. But, I thought he was poor tonight (perhaps not shocking). Agree that most of the team were (credit to Ba’ath, excellent, and Clarke, hopeless, but didn’t hide, nothing went right and kept going).

We didn’t have a central point up front to get going, hold the ball up, get people up the pitch etc….. Thought he was poor against an average bunch of Boro defenders and could have been more aggressive and lead the line better.
