Simms been slow and lazy for 3 games. Good asset beside Stewart with his strength..Cant lead a line.

Thought he was probably our best player to be honest. Grafted for the full game and did okay on the few occasions he had it at his feet. He had zero support all night, it's a near impossible job as a lone striker when you've got no one within 20 yards of you and no one running on behind.

Absolutely shocking tonight. What a difference between that and his first game. Let’s hope his motivation hasn’t gone already (we’ve seen it before). Also, Ross Stewart must be available soon or we have no threat going forward. You don’t realise how good he is until he isn’t playing.
Service to him was diabolical . Ridiculous post that mate . He ran the channels alone and never gave up.

Not shocked about Simms at all. His goals early on flattered him. Both times he did not have the ball under control. But because we lost tonight everyone is on his back. He is no better or no worse a player than on the opening day of the season. We wanted Broadhead.

I didn't see him as lazy at all. He lost a bit of energy after 70-80 minutes maybe, but he worked hard for fuck all up to then.

Criminally isolated.

Absolutely not on the striker today.

forwards tend to look shit when the service to them is shit. Boro back 5 had the cigars out. Our twin number 10s barely completed a pass between them. And the wing backs never got beyond their man or put balls in of any quality.

He'd have had an assist if Pritchard took a touch.

That was the biggest turning point in the game. We probably end up winners if Pritch wasn't an idiot.
