Which other black strikers have we had which got such abuse?

Jones was class in the air…

Bent , Gyan and welbeck it wasn’t there game.

Can’t even remember if Stern John got enough game time to get abuse

Jones absolutely got abuse for being lazy, doesn’t run, doesn’t jump a lot etc.

Grabban got abuse for it anarl.

Simms got a lot of stick tonight starting with the word black, someone earlier posted about wyke and Graham getting abuse for it as well and that’s spot on tbf.

Did as well as he could I thought. The shot at the end however was ridiculous
I havent seen anything from him yet to convince me otherwise.
So you thought he was an extremely poor footballer after Bristol City and QPR, yes? If so nobody stands a chance.

I dont think hes anywhere near as good as people think he is.

So erratic and breaks most of our attacks down. We are completely knackered if he's our lone forward.

Yes I think hes a technically poor footballer, and he seems to be getting worse every game, I hope he proves me wrong but I'm worried now Stewart is out.

Absolutely shocking tonight. What a difference between that and his first game. Let’s hope his motivation hasn’t gone already (we’ve seen it before). Also, Ross Stewart must be available soon or we have no threat going forward. You don’t realise how good he is until he isn’t playing.
First 2 games he was great. Since then another Kenwyn Jones.

Problem is he will be compared to Stewart which really isn’t fair. Different players entirely and whilst he hasn’t set the world alight has been influential in most of our games. With Stewart possibly out for a few weeks more pressure will be put in him. Not sure of his past and whether he’s played as a lone striker but hopefully he does well as the vultures are out already it seems.

He was poor, but Jesus Christ man the lad who has had zero preparation for playing the lone striker role for Sunderland in this team, gets thrown in as lone striker 20 mins before kick off.

Those slagging him off are pathetic.

His footwork is shocking mind. And his decision making. Doesn't seem to strike the ball cleanly. The Bristol City keeper should have saved both his goals anarl

Hes performing worse with every game mind, that's a concern.

I don't believe you. Few iffy games since and you've written him off
Hes technically woeful mind, he's stiff as a board and clumsy. He isn't capable of being involved in our attacks like Stewart is and they break down with him. Its a massive concern with Stewart being out for a while.
