He was proper mint for us.

Ave never been a keeper so dont know much but maybe when you have little to do it makes you prone to an error but when your facing as many shots as he was here it kept him on his toes so to speak.

Female fans are great, and really understand a lot about football, but I genuinely believe you have to have played the game to fully understand it enough. I'm speaking here as someone who hasn't, and I never offer opinions on a player's individual skills. I'm always happy to talk about the match, or notice something woeful, or excellent when I see it. I don't however join in on discussions about the finer technical aspects of a players game.
Hmmmmm......I appreciate the humility, but surely you can study the technical aspects of the game too. And at what level do you have had to have played to understand? - I've played decent beer league but nobody has given me any money. Is that enough? I feel able to comment on technical elements with at least some credibility. Also, if you're a CF, can you not comment on keepers? It's seems not so digital.

can anyone see mannone having as good a season as mig had in his last season for us people were only raving about mannone since his penalty saves against united if people notice a lot of the goals albeit not howlers are very soft.
Would Mignolet have put that tackle on Ashley Young? I have my doubts.

So were quite a few of Mignolet's. He let in some rather weak goals from distance. They're both a bit above average, but not much more than that.

As much as everyone remembers his howler for the 2nd goal that day, he should never have been beaten for West Brom's 1st goal when they won 4-2 up here.

He was brilliant for the end of his time here. He's the best at one and ones I've ever seen play for us, always felt he was going to save it.

Heard a few dippers ripping into him on 606, was he that bad?

First goal was more down to all-round awful defending from a corner, but Mignolet didn't help by being clearly unsure about whether to stay on his line or come and try to claim the ball and in the end didn't really do either.

Not sure if the second goal was a cross or a chip at goal, but either way you have to question his positioning to be beaten from that angle.
